Details
BKS is a Vancouver-based structured wire, fiber optic cable, and network equipment supplier and installer with an in-house data network engineering department and an Ontario satellite office. Most of their projects involve commercial, retail, and new building construction.
We have worked with BKS for over ten years and have completed two full website designs, with the most recent that works well on all mobile platforms for office-based and in-the-field buyers.
Implementing & Executing Solutions
BKS has been in the structured cabling business since 1991. Bryan Sakata, BKS Cablecom Systems' owner, entered the industry as a small cabling contractor in Vancouver. After growing the business entirely through referrals and industry recommendations, BKS hired LinearIND to help further its on-line marketing efforts to reach new customers in British Columbia, Ontario, and Quebec markets.

LinearIND worked with BKS on a complete brand transformation – from brand identity to logo development, also used as a wrap for their service vehicles.
Website
The current website is the 2nd re-design we have created for BKS, showing our commitment to building lasting relationships with our clients. We designed the new website to showcase BKS's approach to each project, highlighting their planning services, products, and project case studies. Built to showcase BKS's quality of their services and products, the website communicates confidence and clarity. We created a custom video banner that is shown between page transitions and presented concise web content information to speak to potential customers.
Case Studies & Photography
BKS's initial business growth relied heavily on word of mouth and referrals. The best way to tell those same success stories to people not privileged to know those connections was through creating case studies showcasing BKS's capabilities with individual projects. LinearIND completed several case studies with site visits to provide photographic and video services for those installations. Over two days, we photographed and documented 3 locations, including the UBC Friedman Building, Best Buy, and The Jim Pattison Outpatient Care and Surgery Centre.
